Hyundai want about £400 and we are not happy about it at all. Would you know what part this is? Apparently its some sort of disc behind the pulley wheel? They say that there is a chance that the sensor has been damaged by this disc. The problem is they say they will not know for sure until they strip it down.
1. The common issue is a knocking noise inside. If that noise disappears after the engine warmed up, this is timing chain noise. You can relax - this is a unique feature. 2. Vibrations at 3,000-3,500 rpm. Hyundai-KIA said that is the feature of the engine. Engine steps in the resonance at middle RPMs and you can feel some vibration.

RE: power window not coming up. You have to take the door apart and see if you are getting power to the window motor. It's either a bad motor, a bad switch, or a bad connection. It's common for the motor or the switch to go bad. Since you don't mention the window going up with either door switch, then I would guess it's a problem with the motor.
